Contest “Sea of Opportunities”

FESCO Transportation Group annually allocates grants to non-profit organizations, budgetary institutions and volunteers to solve the most acute social problems of Primorye.

Aims of the contest

  • to develop social and corporate volunteering
  • to implement projects that shall improve the quality of life in Primorye
  • to implement innovative technologies of sustainable development
  • to develop institutions of local communities

Project areas

  • environmental protection and landscaping
  • support of most vulnerable social groups
  • protection of cultural and historical heritage, development of tourism
  • promotion of physical education, sports and healthy lifestyle, support of psychological well-being

Basic contest rules

  • Requirements for participation
    • Volunteers
      • a group of at least 3 people one of whom works in FESCO
    • Organizations
      • non-profit and budgetary organizations must be officially registered in Russia and carry out their activity within the Primorsky Territory
      • within the framework of the project declared activity must correspond to statutory activity of such organizations
    • Each applicant may submit no more than one project in each field to the contest.
    • The following are not allowed to participate in the contest:
      • companies with a “foreign agent” status
      • religious and political public associations
      • parties and movements
      • commercial organizations
      • trade union organizations
      • penitentiary system institutions
      • state and local authorities
      • individuals
      • advertising projects
      • projects the implementation of which contradicts norms of current laws of the Russian Federation
  • Terms of contest (for organizations)
    • February-April — acceptance of applications
    • April-May — evaluation of applications and announcement of winners
    • Until December 1st — implementation of social projects
    • For volunteers applications are accepted during the year, projects must also be completed by December 1st
  • Sums of grants
    • up to 50 thousand rubles – to volunteer groups;
    • up to 250 thousand rubles – to organizations (without formal defense of the project);
    • up to 500 thousand rubles – to organizations (with formal defense of the project).
